4th of July Playlist

Claudette’s first 4th of July (2015)

It’s almost the 4th! And because no gathering is complete without great music, I’ve created the perfect patriotic playlist on Spotify. I love using music to set the tone of the party. I start with a fun mix in the beginning while guests arrive and enjoy cocktails and appetizers. I then switch it up to something softer to enjoy during dinner. I try to pick music that goes with the food I’m serving. I can’t be sure, but I think French music makes French food taste better!

This 4th of July playlist is a feel good blend that kicks things off with my favorite 4th song, ‘America the Beautiful’ by Ray Charles and ends the evening with ‘God Bless America’ by Kate Smith.
