Valentine’s Day At Home

Valentine’s Day At Home

It’s almost Valentine’s Day and I’m sure it’s no surprise to anyone that I love to make dinner at home for my Valentine. If you want to cook at home too, I’ve got you covered. I’ve compiled a few menu options with everything you need for a Valentine’s Day celebration at home.

Set the mood with some good music. Click here for my playlist.

Light some candles and pour some cocktails or think pink with a Kir Royale

Now pick a menu:

In the mood for an Italian feast?

Bolognese for two…think Lady And The Tramp.

A simple mixed green salad with classic vinaigrette , some homemade garlic bread and a bottle of wine. I like Montepulciano.

Don’t forget dessert!

Feeling Parisian?

Boeuf Bourguignon is a classic

Add a simple green salad, some crusty French bread, a nice bottle of Burgundy and voila!

The easiest dessert ever!

What about a casual pizza night?

Put on your pajamas, curl up on the couch and dig in!

How romantic would it be to make pizzas together?

Pair your pizza with this Caesar salad and a nice Cabernet, and you’re all set.

Maybe some Double chocolate brownies or black and white heart cookies for dessert?
Snack on this ultimate dessert board while watching a romantic movie

We’ll be watching this! I can’t wait!

And don’t forget your heart pins!

What are you doing for Valentine’s Day?

  • Wow! Thanks for taking all the time and energy it takes to plan for a special occasion off my plate! That’s invaluable!
I think I’ll go with The Italian Feast….mostly for the dessert! The playlist is wonderful…that’s definitely a nice touch!
